Bicol Tour 2012

By Jerica M - 10:29 PM

Throwback travelogue!

We had our Bicol Tour on September 27 - 29, 2012. And every time I fly, I made sure to take a picture of clouds. It makes me calm and it looks fluffy!

After we landed, our first stop: DOST PHILVOLCS! We saw some equipment they were using and there was someone explaining some stuffs and I admit that I didn't listen because I was outside at that time together with my classmates. And because we were a big group, it can't accommodate us all.

Lignon Hill is one of the tourist spots in Bicol region. It is the best place to see Mt. Mayon and the whole city. Unfortunately, it was very cloudy so we didn't get the chance to see it but the overlooking was still beautiful. There have also a zip line wherein some of my classmates tried.

We had our lunch in Valentino's Resto Bar and Grill.

The historical Cagsawa Ruin in Daraga, Albay! Tourists can enjoy the magnificent view of Mayon Volcano, but since it was really cloudy when we were there. A lot of souvenir shops are around. Moreover, there were people who can take your picture by using some techniques such as looking like you are leaning in the ruined church but they do it with a fee.

Hoyop-hoyopan Cave.

After the long day of our tour, we checked in at Sirangan Beach Resort: http://www.lostinreveries.com/2015/08/sirangan-beach-resort.html

DAY 2

Our first stop was the Bulusan Lake and Bulusan Volcano National Park:

We also went to Barcelona in Sorsogon, Bicol.

Next was the Rizal Beach Resort where we also had our lunch.

We headed to Museum of Sorsogon Province, where all items in the past and history were displayed. I didn't get to see it since we stayed in the van because we were so tired but some of our classmates had the chance to see and enjoy the place.

And our last stop, the River Cruise & Firefly Watching, this was where we had our dinner and we watched fireflies. We don't have much photos since it was so dark and I swear, we didn't see any fireflies, maybe because it depends on the weather too.

DAY 3

Our last day at Sirangan Beach Resort, just look what surprised us right after our breakfast. What a good scene to capture!

Finally! We had to chance to see it before we go home. I took this photo while we were on the way to our next destination.

Basilica of Nuestra SeƱora de PeƱafrancia, also known as the Pilgrim City and Queen City of Bicol—in the Bicol Region of the Philippines. The inside of the church is amazingly beautiful. It has a very nice architecture, I really love the window design.

And next, the place where we mostly kill our time, CamSur Watersports Complex! Read my separate post about CWC Clubhouse: http://www.lostinreveries.com/2015/06/camsur-watersports-complex-clubhouse.html

Our last stop before we go home, we had our dinner here in Cafe Rasta.
